Also remember to never go to sleep angry. If something cannot be resolved before it’s time to go to sleep, try to agree that the time you spend together in bed is a conflict-free zone. This doesn’t mean that when you’re mad at one another you should pretend everything is all right just because you’re laying down, but you should both make an extra effort to keep pre-sleep conversation cordial. Remember, this is the bed the two of you have chosen to share together for life. Spend time remembering why you love each other, and what brought the two of your together. Even if you’ve had an argument, you still love one another. Your love should always come first and foremost. Sometimes, being a little tired the next day is completely worth spending the extra hour resolving any conflict. You’ll find going to bed after working it out gives you a chance to have a more restful sleep, and a much easier morning!
