I have been using Splenda for over 2 years because of the weight watchers program I was on. My GERD flareups went from hardly ever to very often & within the past 6 months I have developed gastritis. I stopped the splenda for a month & used organic brown sugar, but I developed a sensitivity(lightheadedness) to anything sweet such as fruits, cereal with sugar. I stopped the brown sugar & went back to splenda & my gastritis flared up within 2 weeks. I have decided to stop splenda altogether & I need a safe sweetner I can use, or else I will have to stop using sweetening altogether. GASP!!! Any suggestions?
